COLLABORATION

During autumn/winter 2022/2023 animated teasers for 5 episodes, with references to papers on the subject as well as podcasts, was produced as part of a pilot project “Public Education, Data and Ditital Cross-Mediation” between The Animation Workshop/VIA UC, Folkeuniversitetet Aalborg, Institut for Kommunikation og Psykologi ved Aalborg Universitet, and Sci-Vi. For the animated teasers, 15-30 second soundbites from the 5 podcasts were selected as voice-overs.

OBJECTIVE

The objective for animated teasers was to examine how providers of public education can act in cross-media practice, for example cross-promotion, where connections, so-called bridges, and inputs and outputs of the cross-media can be established, and where podcasts, animations and articles point to each other. Aalborg University collected the data and analyzed user interactions.
